Does anyone have any experience with using Human Growth Hormone products? Is 21 too young a age to be using it
I just came across this topic. I have read nothing but good things about the homeopathic version of HGH. I’m looking for feedback from people who have used it or just know about it. Lets say hypothetically someone starts using it at the age of 21, would using it at such a young age tire out the pituatary gland (dont know correct spelling) and actually give it adverse side effects. any input is appreciated.

Its a natural hormone that is produced by the body. Yes its illegal in most places. However people who use it moderately find that it makes them feel 10 years younger. In moderation it is generally ok. However bodybuilders who use it excessively gain a huge amount of mass in their muscles and also get a bloated look around their gut.

That’s not as bad a thing as you may think now. You have the gift of youthful appearance.
It will really be good when you’re older. I have the same thing… when I was a senior in high school, people thought I was 12 or 13. I’m 38 now and people think I’m 20.

What do you think about natural hormone replacement treatments?
Have you ever heard of or visited the clinic which offers bioidentical hormone replacement treatments?
Any experience with human growth hormone treatment?

I have had very good results using natural bio-identical hormones at a specialty clinic. I did not use HGH though, so I don’t know about that.

Concerning Human Growth Hormone and Height?
I’m posting this question again, verbatim in the hopes that I get some better answers.
Please try to address my specific questions as opposed to offering other insight.
I am male, if that isn’t already implied.
{I will turn 16 on the 8th of September, 2007
I am 5′ 6 tall and weigh about 145 lbs
Height has always been a sensitive issue in my eyes and I can understand its importance because of how it is perceived by society.
Suffice it to say that I don’t want to stay 5′ 6 for one reason or another.
I have looked into other methods for height increase and found that most, if not all are ineffective, with the exception of the “limb lengthening procedure” and “human growth hormone,” respectively.
Just judging from a cursory glance, the first of these two would not be feasible.
That leaves Human Growth Hormone. Human Growth Hormone
is available in oral sprays, pills, and injections.
Essentially, only the injections work.
I have about $ 10,000 to spare offhand.
I have been reading prudently and found that HGH by injection, the cost that is, ranges from “$ 10,000 – $ 18,000
I don’t quite understand the discrepancy. Nonetheless, I am willing to bear any discomfort or inconvenience if that is the issue at hand.
It is required that the epiphyseal plates be open for HGH to work properly, in increasing height gains in adolescents
In a nutshell I have three potential problems.
a)Do I have enough money to pay for the treatment ($ 10,000 no more, no less)?
b)Have my growth plates closed?
c)Supposing that cost and eligibility don’t pose an issue and I reach the treatment stage, about how much could I be expected to grow and what might be my final height?
Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.}

It seems as you have done your homework well. These are all valid concerns and really should be discussed with a qualified physician who can examine you and find out your complete medical history firsthand.
A simple x-ray can tell you if your growth plates have fused. Cost of hGH varies from doctor to doctor and geographical location.
How much you can expect to grow is hard to tell without a complete history and examination.
Good luck.

Does HGH (human growth hormone) work?
My friend has been taking HGH for about a week now. He hasn’t noticed a difference yet, but I was wondering if this stuff works and what the side effects are?
I’m pretty sure it was ordered off the internet, I’m not sure the brand. He has been working out a lot and drinking slim fast drinks between meals. I’m more concered about the side effects.

Is this something that a doctor has prescribed for him or is this some quack scam he ordered off the Internet? If he got the real stuff from a real doctor, he should ask the doctor if and when he should start to see results. If this is some scam product off the Internet—he isn’t going to see results because that crap doesn’t work. Believe me, I research these companies every day.

Apparently it caused CJD in a few. You can carry the disease for decades:.
” it was discovered that three patients had subsequently died due to Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) which is a rare and incurable brain disease. Since that time another 19 confirmed or likely cases from this era have been identified in the U.S.
Since CJD is a disease with an asymptomatic period of infection that may last for decades and there is no test available to detect this asymptomatic infection, concerns were raised about the possibility that if someone in this asymptomatic stage donated blood it might transmit infection to the recipient. To avoid such risk, questions were added to the blood donor medical history asking if the potential blood donor ever received hGH. If they did, they received it two to three decades ago so the donor may not have clear recollection of the treatment and treatment records may be incomplete or nonexistent. Blood centers, therefore, struggle with the accurate evaluation of donor history information to determine if a donor received hGH.”

HGH. Why the controversy in sports? I thought Human Growth Hormone was produced naturally from a gland ?
A gland near the brain that by adding to it slows down the aging process because you lose it as you get older. Why would it be cheating to try and prolong your life? Does it really enhance performance? How?

Answer by spudric13
It is produced naturally, but the people using this are using more than the body is meant to use and thus it enhances their performance. It’s the new steroid, so to speak. It used to be harvested from corpses, but today it’s synthesized in a lab. It could prolong your life, or shorten it. Our bodies aren’t meant to use so much of things like this naturally. When you increase something that’s there naturally to an unnatural level, then you run into troubles. Our bodies make steroids too, but these people use too much it’s why they have problems. One thing that could happen with people that use HGH is that their pituitary gland could shrink and not function properly, thus creating problems when they eventually stop using. the way it enhances performances it that it allows the body to heal faster meaning that a player won’t miss time when hurt, minor things become almost nothing and it allows people to spend more time in the gym giving them a chance to become bigger and stronger.
