HGH pills are not real HGH. You must have them injected. Unless your doctor is a sports doctor, he will not prescribe you growth hormone. Its not like Allegra where you say hey doc I’ve been sneezing can I have allegra? I’ve read for a couple of months plan on spending well over 500-1000. And it will take 2 to 3 months for it to kick in.
The real question is do you have problems with growth or is this for cosmetic use….
Some real side effects of prolonged usage are the reason (beyond the price) most people don’t try it. Enlarged feet and head are a few. Other sides are joint soreness. The benefit to price ratio is not worth it unless you are stinking rich. This is touted as an anti aging drug for older people. Some muscle cell growth (nothing to write home about I hear) and body leaness. Some say you lose your gray hair too. Just buy some hair coloring lol.
An alternative to injections I’ve read can be found if you google ageforce. They have patches that they claim will get somatropin in your body. How they get around legal issues is the question. Have they found a loophole or is it crap like the supplement HGH products. Example Hgh up by applied nutriceuticals claims to increase HGH but really its just a test booster. It might increase a little but nothing like injections.

Human growth hormone need to be injected for it to work well in the body. If it is given as a pill, it would be broken down in the stomach and digested, before it reaches the blood stream.

See your doctor and ask about cost. Looking online you just get advertisements for stuff I wouldn’t trust.
for children “It can cost up to $ 1,000 a week, depending on how much growth hormone the child needs.”, but that doesn’t answer your question.

With HGH you can certainly gain a few extra height inches but only if your pituitary gland is malfunctioning and not secreting the normal amounts of HGH.

With open growth plates the extra height gain from HGH is not going to be a real lot but you could reasonably expect to gain something like about an extra 3 inches or 7.5 cm.

I’m 17 years old and am 5’6. Will HGH injections increase my height by a few inches? ?
My mom is 5’4 and my dad is 5’7. I think my genetic growing potential is pretty much complete. I have been doing alot of research and have come across HGH injections. If anyone is knowledable about HGH injections, please share your insight.

Whats the average growth on hgh injections?
Im 14 years old 4 10 and was diagnosed with short stature and was ordered to take hgh injections..they are using kimo to stop my bone growth so I can take for as long as I want…whats the average growth per year on the injections? I also havent hit puberty yet if that will help

The treatment will probably help some, but individual results are not easy to predict. I’m including a couple of links to info about treatment. Below is also an excerpt of one of the links. You should be prepared for a final adult height that may be 1.5″ greater than if you did not have the treatment. Individual results will vary. I don’t know about Kimo being used to delay bone growth, but that combination may make the treatment more effective.

“The weight of the evidence, although affected by the lack of studies with high quality and strong recommendation, indicates that growth hormone therapy increases adult height in children with idiopathic short stature. However, the growth promoting effect of growth hormone therapy is small, and data analysis shows wide individual variability, which may partly be related to the heterogeneity of the study population.”

“Conclusions Growth hormone therapy in children with idiopathic short stature seems to be effective in partially reducing the deficit in height as adults, although the magnitude of effectiveness is on average less than that achieved in other conditions for which growth hormone is licensed. HGH: I am interested, but what is truly best, injections, or pills that encourage natural production?

If your talking about the over the counter pills they advertise online or if you have seen some in stores, they do not work. They just don’t, its a scam.

The injections are the real thing, you do need a prescription, but no doctor will give it to you unless your natural levels are low. It is illegal for a doctor to prescribe it for ANY other reason. They have cracked down on this over the past few years… Also, you don’t mention what purpose you want to use it for… It has many different uses. Also, do you have any idea how much HGH costs? I hope you understand that if you were to use lets say 2IU a day (which is a small amount), it would cost you roughly $ 60 A DAY. Also, don’t even think for a second that your insurance company is going to pay for a penny of it.

First you should know that it is not legal without a prescription, for good reasons. How much it will make you grow cannot be predicted with any sort of accuracy. The doctor will have to do several follow up visits to give you any idea about your eventual height increase. There are serious side effects if not taken as prescribed or if you use HGH from a questionable source. Also there is a special precaution that should be taken when injecting it. Two of the more serious side effects are cancer or kidney failure. One prescription can cost anywhere from $ 800 to $ 2000. If you intend on taking it do so only from a legal and reliable source. There are too many illegal sources that sell what they claim is “pure” or “guaranteed” HGH. Who knows what is really in that syringe.

Can you grow taller at age 19 with HGH injections, and if so how much?
I have read studies that kids taking HGH for years everyday only gain 1 to 2 more inches, but I was wondering if your bones havent closed if a surge of HGH at the age of 19, could instigate a new growth spurt of sorts in a matter of months if you have not reached your max height potential.

i don’t know anyone who would resort to something like that, and what’s more i don’t think it would have that dramatic of an effect on their height. most of them are probably just wearing heels, although maybe you’re just shorter than you think. but i’m 5’11″ naturally, and most of the guys i know are my height or taller. i don’t think i’ll pay for being tall later in life, since that’s just how i am.
