At age 19 would taking HGH (Human Growth Hormone) increase my height?
I am a 19 year old male and my height is 5’7″. From my understanding of today’s biology lecture, I think that as long as your epiphyseal plate hasn’t fused HGH will work to increase your height. The question then would be if my plates haven’t closed yet, could I gain some height with HGH supplements? If this is possible please suggest a good brand to research.

Here are a few reasons why that is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard.

1) No doctor in the world would perscribe you hGH at 5’7. It is reserved for humans under 4’10, due to how severe the side effects are.

2) You will not get real hGH, even from a black market. Real hGH capable of growing bones costs over 10,000$ (WITH INSURANCE) to run a 1 month cycle, and usually you run 5 cycle (so even if you could find a crooked doctor, it would still cost you 50,000$ ). Professional body builders only use VERY weak amounts of it, not enough to cause growth.

3) The side effects of hGH use are horrendous. Your organs will grow (such as intestines) and leave you with a permanent beer gut. Secondly, all your bones will enlarge and thicken, leaving you with acromegaly (basically your jaw will grow longer and thicker, leaving you with a long, horse face). And finally your heart will grow, causing excess stress to be placed on your heart and massively increasing the chance for side effect and stroke.

4) You are 19 years old. You are 99% done with your growth. Probably will grow maximum half a millimeter taller.

5) Those “hGH Releaser” supplements on the internet are completely useless. They are pretty much just amino acids and protein activators. You are paying 250$ for a protein powder. Nice. They don’t even have to tell you what’s in the “hGH” – since it is a “dietary supplement”, they are protected by the FDA

So I ask you: do you really want to become ugly, get a beer gut, and increase your chance of stroke and heart attacks by 50%, not to mention be out 50,000$ , JUST to grow an inch or two taller?

Just get elevator shoes and build up a good physique. You are 5’7. With E-Shoes you could get to 5’9 and be the average American height. Not to be a downer in my post, but I have to be realistic here.

Tribulus causes an increase in testosterone levels so I would imagine it would show up in tests. Also bear in mind that Tribulus is not recommended by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

Very little, I hope you know how much real GH costs from a pharmacy.

GH does not cause cancer. It just makes any cancer that is there already grow much quicker.

It does have effect, but it depends on how low your levels are. Unless your levels are very low, you will not notice very much if anything at all. Also, who said a placebo has no effect? Placebos do have an effect in about 30% of people who take them.

would taking L-arginine and L-glutamine together before bedtime cancel out their hgh and nos benefits?
ive been taking both supplements on an empty stomach about 30 mins before i sleep to increase both hgh and nitric oxide, but ive been told that taking arginine with any other amino acid cancels out its beneficial effects that i want.

As far as I know there is no such thing. What you described is one of those natural HGH suppliments aka scams. If you want to gain mass from over the counter suppliments try myogenix spawn. If you are looking for height good luck with any of that stuff, your growth plates fuse at 25 I think it may even be to late for real deal injectable HGH.

Mostly tall. You would build a little bit of muscle mass. it really depends on your age to tell what you would get. if your still growing, all you would get is taller though hgh lowers your body fat percentage and increases your lean/muscle percentage. females and males also have different reactions to it. heres an article that i think would help you more on this.
